The initial rental payment is completed when you order the car, and rentals are paid monthly and typically start a month after delivery. In a 3 year agreement, there would be 1 initial rental payment, followed by 35 monthly rental payments. Your initial rental payment is made by bank transfer, then this is Direct Debit only now.

Remember- your initial rental payment is not a deposit- it doesn't get refunded at the end of your lease.

This depends on whether the car is new or nearly new- for new cars there can often a lead time from the factory or supplying dealership, so accurate estimates are difficult, but under normal circumstances, your car should arrive in 2 or 3 weeks. For nearly-new cars sourced from our selected and trusted suppliers, the time between placing an order and delivery to your door is typically 10-12 days.

Road tax is included in your contract for the term of your lease.

Delivery to your contract address is typically included, although please note that on some occasions a supplementary charge may be required. If you contact us, we will be happy to check for you.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the servicing of the car is kept up to date during the life of the contract.  If you don’t keep it up, you may invalidate the warranty and face end of lease charges. It’s always a good idea to keep records of any maintenance and dealer stamp, and return them with the vehicle at the end of the contract. Please note that services can be completed by non-franchised reputable dealers as long as they only use original manufacturer parts.

Maintenance packages can be added to your contract so if this is of interest to you please be sure to ask about it when you get your quotation.

You'll need to have a comprehensive insurance policy in place for the term of your lease- even if you're not using the car. Any car that has not been declared to the DVLA as off the road (SORN) should be insured at all times and it is also one of the conditions in your contract with us.

Don't forget to tell your insurer that your vehicle is on contract hire with us so they can make sure you have the right type of policy.

At the end of your agreement, we will arrange to inspect and collect the vehicle. The inspection will be completed to BVRLA (British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association) standards. Once the vehicle has been returned to us we will write to you detailing any charges or outstanding payments- if you have taken good care of the vehicle, there is usually very little or nothing further to pay, but things like missing service history, excess mileage or any damage to the vehicle beyond Fair Wear & Tear may be chargeable. You can find a Fair Wear & Tear guide here.

Of course - let us know what you would like and we'll look into it for you! Equally, if you like the car you already have, it might be possible to keep it for a bit longer- just get in touch and we'll be happy to go through your options.

If you are unlucky enough to be involved in an accident or your vehicle is damaged, you'll need to contact your insurer and then let us know too. Any repairs will need to be carried out by an approved agent of the manufacturer, and should only use manufacturer original parts.

We all know that things change over time, so if you ever find that you're struggling to make your payments, need to make a change to e.g. your contract mileage or even if you're finding that your vehicle doesn't suit you as well as it used to, give us call and we'll be happy to see what we can do to help.

Because we are the registered keeper and owner of the vehicle, speeding fines, unpaid parking fines, congestion charge penalty charge notices (PCNs) are sent to us. We will make a representation to the issuer, who will then get in touch with you directly. Sometimes we might have to settle tickets for you, then recharge you for the payment plus a small administration fee.

Top tip- if you regularly use toll roads (e.g. Dart Crossing/Mersey Tunnel/M6 Toll Road etc), or town and city centres operating Congestion Charging schemes (e.g. London), it's a good idea to pre-register your vehicle to automatically pay when you use the service, as you may qualify for a discounted rate and the PCNs can be very expensive.

Give us a call or drop us a line and we'll be happy to help.
